Medicinal Benefits of Alcaft Eye Drop

ALCAFTADINE contains Alcaftadine, and it is an H1 histamine receptor antagoni . It is used to treat itching of the eyes due to allergies. It works by inhibiting the natural substance (histamine) action that is responsible for causing allergic symptoms. Due to the release of histamine, symptoms such as itching of the eyes can be seen.

Directions for Use

Depending upon the medical condition, the doctor may usually suggest a single or more drop into the affected part of the eye, preferably before going to bed. Never use these drops when you are wearing the contact lenses and wait for at least 10- 15 minutes before putting the lenses back into your eyes. For applying the ALCAFTADINE, tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid to make a small pocket. Then hold the dropper gently above the eye with its tip down. Look up and squeeze a single drop into your eye. Then close the eye for 2-3 minutes without blinking. Then gently press your finger into the inside corner of your eye for one minute. Wait for a minimum of 5 minutes before using any other eye medicine.
